Terms of Service

ComplianceLens helps HOA staff and managers capture inspection imagery, surface potential compliance issues, and run related workflows (review, notices, appeals, ARC, maintenance, and payment ledgers as enabled for your tenant). Features may change as we improve the product.

Access is invite-only. You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, and promptly revoke access for people who leave your organization. You are responsible for activity under your tenant's accounts.

Use the service only for lawful HOA and property-management purposes. Do not attempt to bypass security, access another tenant's data, scrape or overload the service, upload malware, or use the platform to harass individuals. Inspection capture should respect applicable traffic, privacy, and trespass laws — drive and capture from lawful public vantage points unless you have other legal authority.

You retain rights to content you upload (documents, property data, photos). You grant us a license to host, process, and display that content as needed to provide the service. AI findings are assistive suggestions for human review — not legal advice and not a determination that a bylaw was violated. You remain responsible for enforcement decisions, notices, fines, and communications with homeowners.

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal and inspection-related information, including image retention and privacy masking.

Paid plans are billed as described on our Pricing page or in your order form. Unless otherwise stated in writing, fees are non-refundable for the then-current billing period.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI DETECTION WILL BE COMPLETE, ACCURATE, OR FREE OF FALSE POSITIVES OR FALSE NEGATIVES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPLIANCELENS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Either party may terminate access as described in your order form or by written notice if no order form applies. We may suspend access for non-payment, security risk, or material breach. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends; we may delete tenant data after a reasonable wind-down period unless law or your agreement requires longer retention.
